Tooth injuries

1. Check the casualty’s mouth for any missing or loose
teeth or parts of teeth.
2. If a tooth is chipped, gently wash the injured area
and go to the dentist.
3. If the tooth is loose, have the person bite down on a piece of gauze to keep the tooth in place, then go to the dentist.

IF TOOTH FALLS OUT

1. Apply pressure with gauze to stop bleeding in the empty tooth socket.

2. Hold the tooth by the crown, put the tooth in one of the following: egg white, coconut water, whole milk.

3. Go to the dentist.
