Dress your child in lightweight clothing.
Encourage your child to drink fluids
The medicine can be used at temperatures over 38,5°C.
– Acetaminophen (paracetamol): 10 to 15 mg/kg/dose every 4 to 6 hours as needed.
– Ibuprofen: 5 to 10 mg/kg/dose every 6 to 8 hours as needed.
– Do not use more of this medication than is recommended
Seek immediate medical attention if any of these signs or symptoms accompanies a fever: mental confusion, difficulty breathing or chest pain, persistent vomiting, abdominal pain or pain when urinating, convulsions or seizures
